We mailed out new voter ID cards to those whose precinct changed to the two new precincts (122B & 124A).

We are also in the process of mailing new Voter ID or Address Confirmation Cards to some voters throughout the parish.  Registrars across the state are conducting their yearly canvass.  By law, the Registrars are required to inspect their information and compare to the addresses the USPS has on file for each voter.  The canvass addresses inspected are random, not everyone will receive a card.  You may receive a new Voter ID Card and this is for your records only.  If you receive an Address Confirmation Card, please fill out any information and return to our office.  This helps us keep our voting rolls clean and speed up the line at polling places on election day or during early voting.

As always we appreciate your assistance.  If you have any questions about canvass or any other matter, please call or come by and see us.
