What To
Bring

What do I bring on election day to vote?

When you go to the polls to cast your vote in an election, be sure to take one of the following:

  • a driver's license
  • a Louisiana Special ID
  • LA Wallet digital driver's license
  • some other generally recognized picture ID that contains your name and signature

If you do not have a driver's license, Louisiana Special ID or some other generally recognized picture ID that contains your name and signature, you may still cast your vote by signature on a voter affidavit.

Should any problems or questions arise, the Tangipahoa Parish Registrar of Voters office will be open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM on all Saturday elections and 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM on all Tuesday elections.

Election day voting hours are from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on all Saturday elections and 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on all Tuesday elections. Don't forget to bring your picture ID to the polls!

Review your sample ballot before voting! You are allowed three minutes to cast your vote.
