BATON ROUGE, La. — Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry will unveil the commissioned design for the 2024 “I Voted” sticker on Monday, July 8 at 9 a.m. at Louisiana’s Old Governor’s Mansion. The unveiling ceremony will be open to the public and members of the media. The artwork for this year’s sticker was created by Shreveport artist and Academy Award winner William Joyce, who will also be in attendance at the unveiling.

“To have such a talented and renowned Louisiana artist like William Joyce designing our 2024 ‘I Voted’ sticker is a great honor,” Secretary Landry said. “I know all Louisiana voters will enjoy receiving this beautiful sticker after making their voices heard in the upcoming election.”

“I am honored to be asked to do the art for this year’s ‘I Voted’ Election Day badge,” Joyce said.  “While making it, I thought about how it feels to vote. For me it feels fantastic. Like I matter. Like I make a difference. Regardless of political party, democracy is a song everyone loves, so let’s vote and go to the freedom dance!”

Secretary Landry reminds Louisianans to download the free, award-winning GeauxVote Mobile app to stay up-to-date with election deadlines, view their sample ballots, and find their polling place. Voters can also sign-up for electronic notifications about upcoming elections by visiting GeauxVote.com.
