Rescheduled Fall 2021 elections

Amite, La.— Tangipahoa Registrar of Voters Andi Matheu is currently processing the mail ballots that will be mailed out for the November 13, 2021 election (previously scheduled for October 9).

“We plan to have the November ballots in the mail no later than October 8, 2021,” Registrar Matheu said, “Please be on the lookout and return your voted ballot as soon as possible to avoid any delay in processing.  Also, be aware the date on the mail ballot will still reflect the October election date.  Because there was no change on what is being voted on, there was no reason to have the ballots reprinted”.

The deadline to register to vote in person or by mail is Wednesday, Oct. 13.  The deadline to register to vote online is Saturday, Oct. 23.  For more information about elections and voting, contact the Registrar of Voters office at 985.748.3215 or tangipahoarova@sos.la.gov .

If you or someone you know would like to apply for the mail ballot program, you may do that online at https://tangivotes.com/i-would-like-to/vote-by-mail .  The deadline to apply for a mail ballot for the November 13 election is Tuesday, Nov.9.
