Early Voting Dates for the October 14, 2023 election

Amite, La.— Andi Matheu and the Tangipahoa Parish Registrar of Voters Office would like to remind everyone that early voting for the October 14 election will begin Saturday, September 30 and will continue through the following Saturday, October 7. Both our Hammond and Amite locations are open from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM during early voting week. 

“With the redistricting that took place over the summer, there have been over 14,000 precinct changes and over 43,000 district changes. To ensure Tangipahoa is ready to vote during early voting and on election day, please check your districts and precincts BEFORE you show up to the polls.” 

The deadline to register to vote or update your registration in-person or by mail is 09/13/2023 and online is 09/23/2023. You can come in or call our office for assistance or visit GeauxVote.com to verify your registration information.

If you or someone you know would like to apply for the absentee by mail ballot program, you may do so online at https://tangivotes.com/i-would-like-to/vote-by-mail . The deadline to apply for a mail ballot for the October 14th election is Tuesday, October 10th by 4:30 PM.
