There are no small elections!  Every election makes decisions for the world around you.  BUT May 4th is a small proposition election and there are only 9 precincts involved.  If you vote any of the precincts below you may have something on your ballot.  To view a sample ballot visit GeauxVote.com.

The last day to electronically register to vote in the May 4th election is Saturday, 04/13/19 by 11:59PM.

The Registrar of Voters office will be closed on Thursday 4/18 due to inclement weather.  Our office is also closed for Good Friday.  We will be open at 8:30 AM on Saturday, 4/20/19 for the first day of Early Voting!

If you wish to register or update your registration information electronically be sure to do so before Saturday, 04/13/2019.  If you would like to change your registration information online visit https://voterportal.sos.la.gov/. 

Click Search By Voter and enter your personal information.  Use the Quick Link that says Change Voter Registration.  You must have your valid Louisiana Driver’s license handy in order to update your information through the La. We have an election coming up on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Very important dates and times to remember leading up to the election are:

Wednesday, 4/3 – last day to register to vote (in person or by mail)

Saturday, 4/13 (by 11:59 PM) – last day to register to vote online

Tuesday, 4/30 (by 4:30) – last day to request absentee mail ballots

Friday, 5/3 (by 4:30) – last day for registrar or receive voted absentee mail ballot

EARLY VOTING will be held Saturday, 4/20 – Saturday, 4/27 from 8:30AM – 6:00 PM (excluding Sunday)
