If you wish to register or update your registration information electronically be sure to do so before Saturday, 04/13/2019.  If you would like to change your registration information online visit https://voterportal.sos.la.gov/

Click Search By Voter and enter your personal information.  Use the Quick Link that says Change Voter Registration.  You must have your valid Louisiana Driver’s license handy in order to update your information through the La. Secretary of State voter portal.  If you need assistance, please contact or come by our office and we will be happy to help. If you wish to register or update your registration information be sure to do so before April 3, 2019.  Last day to register to vote either in person or by mail is WEDNESDAY, 4/3/2019.  To find out if you are voting in the May 4th election or to view a sample ballot please visit https://voterportal.sos.la.gov/.

We have an election coming up on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Very important dates and times to remember leading up to the election are:

Wednesday, 4/3 – last day to register to vote (in person or by mail)

Saturday, 4/13 (by 11:59 PM) – last day to register to vote online

Tuesday, 4/30 (by 4:30) – last day to request absentee mail ballots

Friday, 5/3 (by 4:30) – last day for registrar or receive voted absentee mail ballot

EARLY VOTING will be held Saturday, 4/20 – Saturday, 4/27 from 8:30AM – 6:00 PM (excluding Sunday)

Saturday, May 4, 2019 – Municipal General
(Early Voting 04/20/2019 – 04/27/2019)

Saturday, October 12, 2019 – Gubernatorial Primary
(Early Voting 09/28/2019 – 10/05/2019)

Saturday, November 16, 2019 – Gubernatorial General
(Early Voting 11/02/2019 – 11/09/2019)

*** No Early Voting on Sundays ***

If you will be unavailable to vote in person for any of the elections listed above, please sign up for a mail ballot to make sure you still have a chance to cast your vote.
